He also said he will quit football before he takes the Vet minimum.

TaborJet
I don't know what to make of Ty Law. It's the middle of July, and there are still no takers? Something is up. Pass.

They did a whole peice on how it was a mistake for him to go visit teams in april when he still couldn't walk or do anything. He also said the patriots should have done more to find out the extence of his injury....he needed to get scrws in his foot and a plate that has since been removed. I watched him move and cut on the field...He's almost ready to go 100% and whatever team he sign with this season is going to get the old Ty Law not this hobbled guy we have all heard about this offseason. haggis
He'll get too much $$$$. Coming off an injury I'd have concerns despite what he has done in the past.

LionelRichie
if all ty is being offered is the vet minimum it seems like a good time for TB to offer a decent package for him. nobody is offering big $ to him so the jets may be able to pick him up at a reasonable price. TomShane
The problem with Ty Law is that he still thinks he's a top corner worthy of a huge deal. No one is going to give it to him.

LionelRichie
He said he will quit all together if he only get an offer for the Vets minimum how about 3M bonus, vet min, and a big roster bonus next march? the jets get him for 1 year to make a run and then have the option of keeping him for the next. if they cut him after 1 he made 4M, and the jets take a 1.5M cap hit in '06. Even a 4M or 5M bonus still works out decent as long as ty plays well this year.
