Blackout
Seeing how yardage is easier than ever to rack up these days, will anyone ever pass Don Maynard in career yardage as a Jet??

neckdemon
at some point in time i'd say it's inevitable. who knows when. when any player is really good they wind up asking for more money than half the teams are able to spend.

Smashmouth
No. Even if we drafted a WR capable of such a feat next year it would take him about 10 + years to pull it off. So we are a long long way off from that happening
pedro55
You need a QB or QBs who put up decent numbers year after year. You need a WR who puts up big numbers year after year. Look at Welker in New England. He had Brady and put up monster numbers. Now the guys gone to another franchise. QBs who put up good stats seem to stick around for the most part. Tony Romo. But WRs seem to be going the route of running backs. I mean look at some of the best WRs over the past decade and they have jumped around. Moss, TO, Chad Ocho, Welker for a few years. Fitzgerald stuck it out, but he's now in that horrible situation where his numbers could get worse because the QBs suck. He has more receptions, less yards, and less TDs Will he get better numbers? You would think so as he probably has another 3-5 decent years left. But you never know. And that's if he sticks with the Cardinals. And he's a HOF WR.
