Bleedin Green
Damnit, we never had any real opportunity to come up with some good Wedgie jokes.
flgreen
Damnit, we never had any real opportunity to come up with some good Wedgie jokes. Well I guess this whole 1 day try out was kind of like Idzik giving him a Wedgie (had to get at least one in)
kelticwizard
Wasn't Jason Smith the colossal bust for another team who we traded someone for?
Bleedin Green
Wasn't Jason Smith the colossal bust for another team who we traded someone for? Yep, swapped him straight up for Wayne Hunter last year with the Rams.
JoeKlecko
Wasn't Jason Smith the colossal bust for another team who we traded someone for? That depends upon what your definition of "someone" is. Does a human turnstile count as a "someone"?
Lego My Lageman
Man so if Mangold goes down and Sanchez is the starter we could have buttwedgie fumble

Sperm Edwards
Guess this means the team liked what they saw of Peterman at center this week in practice.

Sperm Edwards
Doesn't Schlauderaff snap too? I haven't heard much about it, but they used to talk abou tit Pretty sure he did before they had Peterman work at center with the 2s. The sequence of events I'm pointing to is: 1. Peterman works at center this week. 2. 3-4 days later, Wedgie gets cut the day before a preseason game. His spot is replaced by another OLman who does not play center. Hence I interpreted that to mean Peterman was able to snap a football well enough to be an emergency center, and that (along with Peterman being a veteran starter at guard) made Wedgie's presence unnecessary. #27TheDominator
Yep and Cook as well, but I think both are pretty bad. Sure, but Wedige wasn't exactly a high level pick up. The press acted like this was to shore up back up center, but it was just a flyer on another UDFA level guy like Shugarts, etc.

Cuts start next Tuesday, and I have a feeling we're gonna see a lot more players passing thru before the season starts.
