pedro55
Quinn and Sanchez both suck. The problem is nobody wants Sanchez around here, so if he's hurt all year, why the hell does anybody want Quinn? Wow a cheaper version of the same bad QB. Hell I'd say Quinn is worse considering Quinn couldn't even beat out Tebow for the backup job in Denver. And he was on a team who didn't even want Tebow from the GM down to the coaches and half the team. What's that say about the guy? At the end of the day, who the hell cares if they go in with Simms & Smith and Sanchez is injured or not injured. Adding Quinn does what for the team? Nothing. It's just a stupid move to add another bad QB to the mix. As stated in another post, many teams with super bowl hopes only go with 2 QBs and half the time their backup QB sucks or has no experience. So if those teams would rather spend a roster spot on other players, why are the Jets with nothing with bad QBs needs to keep Smith, Simms, Sanchez, and Quinn. 4 QBs? For what. It's one thing if they brought in Quinn who will be the starter as Smith gets time on the bench. Its another to bring in a guy who probably can't even beat out Sanchez for a job. LOL Good shot 80. Those (not enough attempts to qualify) speak volumes about what coaching staffs thought about him. I know as a Jets' fan this is going to be hard to take, but Matt Quinn is really worst then Sanchez

How long have you been a fan of the NFL and the Jets? During that time how many times have teams been content to stand pat with two rookie QBs? Since we don't know how hurt Sanchez, and he could miss a game or two, a month, or maybe most of the season. Without Quinn or a veteran QB, that would leave the Jets with two raw, inexperienced rookies. Unless one is intentionally trying to tank the season, that's not a very smart thing to do. In addition, injuries happen to QBs fairly frequently. Bringing in a veteran QB while Sanchez is hurt was the smart thing to do. Who would you have had them bring in? Good QBs just don't grown on trees and are readily available as FAs. Quinn is better than Harrell and has a pretty strong arm. Hopefully he won't have to see the field, but if he does, I won't be any more worried about him than I would Sanchez or Simms.
