Bottom line!

Bowles will be here long after Rex is canned in Buffalo. He took over a team that was 9-7 last year, Bowles took over a team that was 4-12. Yea we spent money but Mac knows he blew 7 million on Cromartie. It's hard to play defense when you lose ALL OF YOUR SAFETIES! Jets could have used a Rambo last night don't ya think?

Like others have said, watch next Sunday when the Pats blow their undisciplined doors off 42-17. You just don't throw a whole bunch of guys together & have a team in the NFL. Next years draft should be another BPA on OFFENSE! Even if it's a tackle. We need LBs that can cover so badly. Honestly after Cro, Damario Davis gives up a big play EVERY GAME. Bowles is playing with his arms tied behind his back with all of his safeties injured. He can't play that big Nickle he likes so we end up with Davis trying to cover Williams...result? TD! We'll also get this return game figured out on special teams, it's KILLING US EVERY WEEK. Listen, we lost by 5, Devin Smith gave them 7, enough said.

Rex should have thanked Bowles for the gift that was his Super Bowl win.

That was a gift from Bowles and Bobby April. Smith is not a kick return specialist and in fact, that was his first one. Bowles is quickly showing that he may be in over his head a little bit. You absolutely have to take the FG to make it 22-20. Buffalo's offense was stalling at that point, but I don't think Bowles has confidence in how he uses timeouts, so he went for broke and came up snakeyes.

Please.

Growing pains =/= "in over his head".

Look across the league at the bad coaching, bad teams, bad records. Bowles is actually doing a great job here. I love that we came out last night aggressive on defense, and tried to match that aggressiveness on offense. It sucks that we couldn't execute. Fitz looked like junk in the first half, we're not a good enough team to go cold on offense for an entire half, while also giving the ball away 3+ times.

The problem with going for it on those 4th downs is 1.) the playcalls weren't as aggressive as the decision to go for it, 2.) the playcalls and execution on downs 1, 2 and 3 should have been better and prevented the need for 4th down.

I knew what type of game it was when we marched down the field, early in the 1st, and then couldn't call a play to get the ball in the endzone when we were on the doorstep.

After steaming over this overnight and through my commute... my biggest concerns coming out of last night are Gaileys redzone playcalls, ball security, the way the offense or defense (from week to week) can be completely cold for an entire half (and it has nothing to do with our competition, it's as if they just haven't gotten off the bus yet).
