CanadaSteve
Here is my foray into the mix. TOTAL GUESS: NY Jets trade Mo Wilkerson to the San Francisco 49's for a 2016 2nd pick (37th), 2016 4th round pick (105th), and a 2017 2nd round pick. 49's have 12 picks and can afford to give up two this year, and one next year. While no 1st round pick, Jets can parlay Mo into three solid choices, two being this year. The lower asking price makes him easier to trade on draft day. 1st round (20): OLB Noah Spence. He is worth the risk, and gives us a great 1-2 punch with Mauldin 2nd round (37): LT Jason Spriggs. Can play the RT for now, and transition over to LT. 2nd round (51): QB Christian Hackenberg. Little early, but I think he could be worth it with a year to sit 3rd round (83): ILB Scooby Wright. I just do not trust Jaylon Smith's knee. At worse, Wright will be no better than Davis. 4th round (105): TE Nick Vannett. Grabbing the early 4th gives us another TE we desperately need. 4th round (118): OC Evan Boehm. Our replacement for Nick in a year or two 7th round (235): P Tom Hackett. Can he be any worse than Quigley was? 7th round (241): CB Brian Poole. Who knows? Maybe a developmental CB for future. Okay...what say you?
Beerfish
Am okay with the 1st two picks, Hackenberg......not a fan. Everyone loves Vannett to us for some reason. Like the C pick and the punter pick.
Greenseed4
I love the trade, but I have RT Anthony Davis as a substitute inclusion opposed to the second second rounder. That frees up our selection of Spriggs, for (fingers crossed) Karl Joseph.
