The Troll
I am really glad I have the NFL Network now. Since when do they broadcast actual games?
Bugg
The NFL Network will likely broadcast 6-8 Saturday, Thursday and Friday night games from Thanksgiving through the end of the season. Idea had been to sell those games as a seperate package. But Tagliabue must've figured this would make the NFL Network a more valuable cable property, get higher clearance and fees from cable and satellite providers and provide more advertising dollars directly to the NFL. JetCane
Yep that's a good game. I think the early game will be the fish at dee-troit, and the college night game will be BC at Miami (something about the anniversary of some stupid long pass play
Bugg
ESPN radio just announced officially that the NFL Network will have 8 Thursday/Saturday night games beginning with the Skins/Pokes.

SlugORama99
This is a pretty big deal. I have NFL Network because of Directv, but it is not carried by Time Warner Cable in New York at this point, is it?

124
Wait so the games won't be shown on CBS / FOX / NBC / ESPN???
stormshadow19
Comcast has the NFL Network, but you've gotta get the digital plus package, and that's 15 bucks more a month. I'd rather get the HD box for now, and then get the digital cable closer to, say, the draft
Smizzy
Wait so the games won't be shown on CBS / FOX / NBC / ESPN??? Only if the game is in your local market.
124
Only if the game is in your local market. I hate the ****ing NFL. This really pisses me off. I didn't intend on getting NFL Network. How much is it and what do you need to get it?
Bugg
This isn't about you especially. Trust me-the NFL will force your cable or satellite company to carry it on basic like Directv does. There ins't a bigger boy on the tv block than the NFL. Unless you get your tv on rabbit ears, you'll get it.
