Leadership

I think the Jets now more than ever need someone within the team to really step up and be the leader of this team. The spokesperson and power within the locker room. Should it be the QB? Vilma?

They need a Scott Stevens type...yes the one with his number getting retired tonight :)

Yup.

Leadership is more of an action than a title, but sometimes you need somebody that will challnge people and get in their face.

The Jets have had the misfortune of having soem quiet leaders-Martin, Ellis, Abraham-Who are not really the fiery leadership types. Pennington could have been that on offense, but obviously he is not in tehre enough.

Maybe some of the Cox bravado will rub off on Vilma.

When Reed punched Vilma in the face, he should have been cut on the spot. Vilma's leadership was compromised because of that. And not one of his teammates came to his defense?

i think its obvious that our great DT, D-rob, should be our leader. His constant hardwork and go get-em attitude has propelled him to the top of the ranks of the DT's of the league

we are talking about MADDEN football right?
