BettyBoop
It's clear what Joe Douglas's wish list is. To the surprise of no one, he's been trying to get his hands on another weapon for Zach (WR) and a pass rusher for Saleh. Does this mean that these are the two slots he will target in round 1? Is an OL now not an option? Personally, I'm glad he didn't make the trade for Hill. As for Chandler Jones, I have mixed feelings. He would have helped but for how long? With less than four weeks until the Jets Super Bowl (aka the draft), we're starting to see things play out. There's considerable buzz about Willis and Pickett suddenly being coveted by teams in the top ten. Fortunately for Douglas, Carolina at #6 seems to have their heart set on Pickett so perhaps another team may want to get ahead of them and offer a package for #4. Another guy seemingly shooting up draft boards is Trevon Walker. He seems to be going ahead of KT in most mocks and as high at #2 to the Lions. Interesting. Round 1 - There will be more posturing leading up to the big day with Douglas putting out signals that he's all in on Ikey or Neal at #4. What's he's really planning on doing is getting a young Chandler Jones of his own and will take Aidan, Trevon or KT (in that order of preference) provided one of them is there at 4. If not, it's going to be Sauce or Hamilton. One way or another Douglas is aiming to gift Salah with a Dawg on defense. At #10 the hope is that Garrett Wilson or London is there. If not he just may pull the trigger on Trevor Penning. Round 2 - Of course this is dependent on what happens at 4 & 10, but this is the sweet spot for a LB, S and possibly (another?) WR. On the table is Chad Muma and Christian Harris at LB, Brisker or Hill at S and Christian Watson and Jahan Dotson at WR with an outside shot at Treylon Burkes. If the Razorback is still on the board in the 20's Douglas may pull an AVT and go get him. Rounds 3-5 - Unless Douglas pulls off a miracle and gets s top-end WR in a trade, I can't see how Douglas doesn't double up at WR. There are plenty of good options in these rounds. A project at guard is likely and possibly a center as well. He will also find a running mate for Michael Carter in these rounds. Predictions #4 - Trevon Walker, Edge #11 - Drake London, WR #35 - Nicholas Petit-Frere, OT #38 - Travis Jones, DT #69 - Quay Walker, LB #111 - Zyon McCollum, CB #117 - Nick Cross, S #146 - Hassan Haskins, RB #163 - Cameron Jurgens, C Priority UDFA Andrew Stueber, G Bo Melton, WR Andrew Ogletree, TE Nolan Cockrill, DT EJ Perry, QB 4
Beerfish
Well good effort on the thinking of it but for me personally I hate it. Your top two picks are on my do not draft list.
