124
I've always wondered. Are the Texans fans fans of the Oilers and cheered for nobody in those missing years? What did you do during years of no team? And why did you pick Houston?
SouthernJet
There would be no Texas today if the Alamo had a backdoor.
Dunta_23
Im only 23 so I was never a fan of the Houston Oilers....When I first started paying attention to football I was a fan of mostly players and no real teams...Mostly just watched what was on and rooted for certain players...Then the Texans joined the league and I liked how the competed the first year and since then Ive been a solid Texans fan...with a few other teams in my interest as well....I like that fact that weve got a relatively young team that "seems" to have some pieces in place...Hopefully the Texans will turn things around soon
Dunta_23
From what I can tell you a lot of the Texans fans are bitter with the Titans for the move...so I guess they still rooted for the players when there was no Texas team but they didnt appreciate the owners at all. shawn306
Houston supported the Oilers in a big time way and I'm sure alot of those old Oiler fans wish nothing but bad things on Bud Adams for moving them to Tenn.
Blackout
yeah, the Titans got to a superbowl in 99 and had some strong teams since then meanwhile their new texas team sucks balls, although they'll get Reggie Bush next year, thats kinda exciting
