spjets
Bob Wischusen Jets not as chaotic as you might think Mar 22, 2006 Remember the scene at the end of Animal House? Bluto and the boys wreak havoc on the homecoming parade. Marbles are spilled, floats are crashing into the dais, there are explosions and people are running everywhere, screaming as if the world was about to end. Ever since the end of last season, if you believe everything you read, you would have thought that that scene was roughly what things looked like behind the walls at the Jets

But consider this: Offensive Line is in a flux. Most important position on the field. Defensive from 7 is not settled, although all the pieces are there except the one in the middle - Nose Tackle. The main piece. Running Game is potentially OK, but if Curtis does not come back, it will be thin, to say the least. Still need a burner on the WR core. Maybe Dwight is teh guy, maybe not. He has never played full time before. Secondary is young and unproven. But talented. Oh yeah. QB is a ????????????????? So, we are not that far, but we are still not nearly there yet. QB is a ????????????????? the main point of the peice was that we're heading in the right direction with compentent people actually steering the supposed "rudderless ship".We all know where the question marks are and with the leadership we NOW have, feel confident that it'll be taken care of.Remember it's only March 24th and we still have no idea what the team is gonna end up looking like by summers end-as JetfanFl wrote the other day;this IS an exciting time to be a Jets fan
