Looked like he was going for the first guy, but then saw another guy he’d rather hit who might be a bigger factor in the play, and got caught in between and whiffed on both. I was for waiting and using our assets elsewhere while maintaining our current QB. Once we lost the #1 pick it was a total crap shoot that year. Hell the trade downs available were huge.
