Jetfan13 Posted April 21, 2006 Share Posted April 21, 2006 Broncos | Team rebuffed trying to move up in the NFL Draft Fri, 21 Apr 2006 06:40:01 -0700 Lee Rasizer, of the <A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/168">Rocky Mountain News, reports an unnamed team was the third team to turn down the Denver Broncos' offer of two first-round draft picks for their first-round pick in the NFL Draft. The team was draft somewhere in the top five of the draft, other than No. 3 or No. 5. we should have jumped all over it if it was...could this be our new CS's first big mistake? quietjets Posted April 21, 2006 Share Posted April 21, 2006 It has to be either Texans or Saints because Broncos tried to rip off the deal.. the combination of Broncos' 2 first rounders almost equals to Jets' sole 4th overall selection... I dont think it was Jets after all. I agree. The #4 spot assures you of getting a very good player, while the number 1 and 2 spots assure you that you are getting the player you are targeting. This pick grows in value during the 15 minutes that it is on the clock. I suspect that Tannenbaum will be receiving a bunch of calls during that time, and immediately preceding it.
