winB4eyeDIE Posted April 27, 2006 Share Posted April 27, 2006 I don't see how drafting Leinart improves the Jets. I think it would be idiotic. Leinart can't complete a pass lying on his back. Jets should draft D'Brick at #4. Taking a QB will not help us. We're not going to even be competitive next year. This draft should be focused on building a team that will compete in 2007. Do you remember Tony Mandarich!! he was a CAN'T MISS... you can find good OT in rd 2/3 ight now the jets have 1 QB who can compete on an NFL Level..RAMSEY.. Wide recievers don't catch passes when the passer is lying under the opponents defensive line. Skill guys can't perform if the guys in the trenches are constantly getting beat. I think he's going to be a quality NFL QB and I won't be upset if The Jets draft him but I don't think he's going to be a superstar/carry a team type player. I'd be lukewarm if they took him.
