aec4
Remember, in Track/Field they hit a gun, which triggers the clock, and then people run. The time given tests REACTION TIME and SPEED. 40 yard dashes DO NOT test reaction time. It simply tests SPEED. Why? They start it on first movement. That's a couple tenths right there. Also, some people are slower, and get it up to speed. Remember, he's geared for 109.37 yards. Meanwhile, the NFL guy is gearing for much shorter, more explosive, sprints. Lurker
they claim Darrell Green ran like a 4.06, clearly impossible.
ECURB
players like Bryan Thomas, Jon McGraw, DeWayne Robertson, Justin Miller and others who became big disappointments if not out and out busts. I respect and thank you for the rest of the post but seriously how can you make a statement like this? 3 of the 4 players you listed are starters with blue chip upside - 75% success rate is not too shabby when 75% of all the players selected end up being worthless year after year. aec4
from Clark Judge: http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9482974 Let me cite BS on this one. Ben Johnson, if anything, was known as a SLOW starter. Also, keep in mind, 100 meters is 109.37 yards.
