L-NE, Jax, Chi, NE, Buff) Playoffs: 0-1 (NE with top 10 defense) i never had a problem with you before but that was a rediculous reaction buddy. i didn't come in this thread to start problems. You're right, it wasn't the porous defense and the fact they couldn't run the ball that made them lose last year in the playoffs to the Pats, it was Chad. It also was not the Herm/Hackett combo of play calling at the end of the playoff game (like kneeling on the ball to lose a few more yards before a FG attempt instead of at least running it up the middle or maybe trying a pass) against the Steelers and Doug Brien's leg that caused them to lose, it was Chad. It wasn't Chad who led the Jets to 41-0 victory against the Colts in the playoffs a couple of years back either, it was a mirage. So horrible he has been in all those "big games." They should cut him. Clemens did have an excellent quarter in the pre-seaon last year, so he is much more capable of leading the team (even if the coaching staff has him competing for the back-up job and not doing well at it). Listen , in all honesty I am hoping that Clemens develops into a great QB in this league as he seems to be the future of this team. I just don't see it at this point. He has done nothing in practice to show he is ready to take over the team. Where everyone is getting this great confidence in a guy who hasn't shown anything since he was drafted is beyond me. Then again, I remember people yelling for the Jets to put Pat Ryan in because everything was blamed on Ken O'Brien. It was ridiculous then and it's ridiculous now.
