Jeter's 07

Really? You don't think Cano and Matsui are having better seasons especially during when the team was making up ground?

Cano? Are you kidding? Not a chance.

Matsui I could see, but Jeter doing it at the shortstop position makes him far more valuable than Matsui doing it at a corner OF/DH spot.

Not to mention, Matsui and Cano were as cold as rocks for 2 months of the season, it seemed. Cano moreso than Matsui, was irrelevant for about 2 months.

Both have bounced back nicely and have put up excellent numbers in ALL categories.

True, but Blackout has it right - on the season, Jeter's behind only Arod and Posada. It's nice to see Cano and Godzilla on a good strak, though.

1-Alex Rodriguez - no need to question this

2-Jorge Posada - 4th in OPS in the AL behind Alex, Fagglio and Ortiz

3-Jose Reyes - broke the Mets single season SB record

4-Hideku Matsui - 90 RBI and 88 Runs, not a bad balance

5-David Wright - 149 OPS+ - great rebound after a horrible april

6-Derek Jeter - down from last year but not too bad overall.

7-Bobby Abreu - great comeback from a horrible first couple of months

8-Carlos Beltran - just as many XBH and RBI as Wright in less games and AB's

9-Robby Cano

10-Shelly Duncan hahaha

David Wright is on his way to a possible 30-30 season, and is having a better year than Matusi in almost every offensive category. Beltran ,Abreu and Cano IMO are all having better years than Jeter as well.
