Green Jets & Ham
Didn't give us the length or the dominance he did verses Boston, but I'll take 5 innings of 1 run ball ... and it sure as heck exceeds the expectations of some folks when we signed him AND IT SURE AS HECK beats those clowns who were getting hammered into submission everytime they took the hill ... May, Redding, Henn, etc. Heck, it blows away the crap Boston has recieved from John Wayne Franklin All things considered, nice job by Uncle Al tonite ... would have loved more length, but a nice job Got a lot of runners on base, but he battled like a PRO and surrendered one measly run

Ron Mexico
Al Leiter has had more flareups then Carol Channings clitoris.
Jetfanmack
5 innings and 2 runs is what I expect from Leiter. It's okay, but our bullpen will blow some of those games.
Jet/BosoxFan
Lets not go crazy here...the Twins cant hit their way out of a paper bag. And Leiter is an unimpressive, nothing-to-get-excited-about-at-all 1-2. Interesting side note: The proposed trade of last week (Mueller and Millar to Minne-haha for Romero and Mays) would have possibly paid dividends in this series for the Twinkies. Billy M is a proven batting champion and say what you will about Millar, but they both wear out opposing pitchers and methinks the Twinkies wouldnt have been dominated by Randy Johnson if these 2 were in their lineup Tuesday night. PLUS...Romero gave up the big late hit to Matsui, allowing 2 deadly runs to score late! Minne-haha coulda been looking at a sweep at the Stadium, where they never win, if they had pulled off this trade. Oh, and Bugg is still an idiot
