Green DNA
The Heart of a Punter Steve Weatherford told Dennis Waszak of The Associated Press today that he underwent a minimally invasive procedure at Morristown Memorial Hospital a week earlier to prevent the irregular heartbeats that sidelined him for the playoff game at Cincinnati in January. Weatherford is on blood thinners and said he's feeling in great shape after taking part this morning in his first session at the team's offseason strength and conditioning program. As long as he was in the hospital he should have gotten a leg transplant. Just sayin'.

Bruce Banner
"Coming out of college, I played in the East-West Shrine Game," he said. "The game's logo on our jerseys showed a football player in his pads, his helmet in one hand and with the other hand he was walking with a child. His number is 26." Good for Lowery.
