Greenranger Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 Brian Brohm in line for second career start Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on December 31, 2010, 8:51 PM EST If you thought John Skelton vs. Stephen McGee on Christmas night was a thrill, wait until Jets fans get to see Mark Brunell vs. Brian Brohm at the New Meadowlands Stadium on Sunday. Mark Sanchez is expected to start for the Jets, but likely won’t play for long before giving way to Brunell. The Bills look ready to give Brohm his second career start because Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn’t practiced all week. Fitzpatrick (knee) is officially questionable and a game-time decision, but it’s very rare for a quarterback to play on Sunday without practicing all week. I remember when Dave Krieg from "little Milton College" was the laughingstock in the national papers one week before his pro debut starting in place of the injured Jim Zorn. I remember when Dave Krieg from "little Milton College" was the laughingstock in the national papers one week before his pro debut starting in place of the injured Jim Zorn. Needless to say 3 TD passes and one more running later and Jim Zorn got Wally Pipp-ed Brett Favre and the rebuilt Jets were supposed to beat down Matt Cassel and the Brady-less Pats in his first start since high school.
