I'm about to head out to Best Buy to purchase the adapter or whatever the frick it is, that allows you to play online madden on PS2 What does this adapter look like? pictures? How much does it cost?? I went to best buy last month and asked 1 of the people who worked there where this adapter is, he showed me this thing and tried explaining it to me, but I think he just confused himself and myself, so I didn't purchase it... anyways, any help is appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bitonti Posted June 5, 2005 Share Posted June 5, 2005 green DNA is referring to a router - this will allow you to share the connection with a computer - however to connect the PS2 to the internet you will also need what is called a network adaptor - small black box that attaches to PS2. WTF this is pissing me off I went thru the setup, ISP, dialup, etc etc I try to type in my ISP username but I cannot do that because there is no number option for the number ZERO, as in 0, there is only the letter o, not the number 0, so wtf do I do??? I played solid defense, but I didn't get a 1st down on offense the entire 3 quarters I played so I shut it off haha. This ahole was spreading out his dline bring safetys up in the box, and I used like any formation and I'd drop back, my wide recievers would be getting killed in the bump coverage and I'd get sacked, total BS. I don't know how to do it but it has been done to me many times. the moral of the story is to only play people you know. EB PM me sometime I am getting back my madden chops and we can set up a game... also it's sometimes just satisfying to know you beat someone. hopefully one day they find a way to stop online cheaters... This guy who was playing with the cowboys keeps milkin the clock out every damn pass, and uses the no huddle on every damn play. He goes up 7-0 on his first possession (via the no huddle and me not wanting to burn a timeout) I tie the game up with a bunch of sideline passes and HB dives with Lamont against his stupid dime defense because I used a 3 WR set with my Lamont runs. I tie to game up at 7 in the 2nd quarter because he milked the entire 1st Q on the damn drive almost. Then in the 4th quarter, (this guy only ran 4 WR sets THE WHOLE GAME, he gets a field goal with a minute or so left on the clock, and I have just 1 timeout left. I get the ball with well a minute or so left in the game, I used the same Lamont dives with the 3 WR set, I get like 30 yards and burn up like 40 seconds. This guy keeps take his nose tackle off the line and putting him outside to stop any potential outside runs to the sideline so I just keep plowing up the middle, 6, 7, 8 yards a pop. I go for a big pass play,and he sacks me with 15 secs left, I run the no huddle and throw a pass away. 4 seconds left in the game, I need like 70 yards for a touchdown. I run a 3 WR with Santana Moss going for the hail mary. Before the ball is snapped he takes his nose tackle (la'roi glover) and runs him about to the 10 yard line at the goaline. I run the play, roll out to the left, throw a 60 yard missle to Moss, he catches it, and Glover has his back to me, I juke him out and score the touchdown with no time left on the clock!
