  1. Expecting a WR in the 3rd and a developmental QB in the 4th (Pratt, Travis)
  2. With the OLine injury disaster from last year this was the only move. Hopefully Fashanu can become Brick 2.0 because LT has been a revolving door ever since he retired
  3. Rodgers is a strange case because he's the last of the "old breed" of QBs (Brady, Manning & Brees): Negatives - Since Rodgers is 40 he's not as fast/athletic as the others - His age makes him susceptible to injury Positives - His 20 years of experience makes him smarter than the others - His arm talent is as good or better than anyone - He's the on field OC which allows him to control/change the offense. The others basically are "robots" running what was phoned in from the sidelines If the revamped OLine does their job there's no reason he won't be top 2-3 in the conference
  4. With the networks "consolidating" expect more of this because personalities need to draw attention to themselves to justify their jobs/$$$
  5. Can you say "consolidation"??? The media landscape is going to be a bloodsport as networks merge, there are fewer jobs and management wants to cut costs
  6. Good breakdown. I wouldn't be shocked if BUF calls Douglas to move up to #10 for a WR. But if you're Douglas do you help your division rival?
  7. DEN is a natural landing spot because all they have is Stidham and the probability of drafting someone this month
  8. Tough pill to swallow if you're a BUF fan. You've lost a ton of talent on both sides of the ball and now Allen is at a major risk of regression with both of his WRs leaving. Sucks to be them, the Jets have no excuse not to win the AFC East
  9. Picking up Reddick is in anticipation of how this season "better" go: - A lot of leads in the 4th quarter, which will force the opposition into being "one handed" and a ton of throws - Saleh/Ulbrich ALWAYS rotate the DLine so they'll want fresh edge rushers on every snap. Therefore Johnson, Reddick and McDonald will probably see every rep at DE. While Williams, Franklin-Myers and Kinlaw will probably see the reps at DT. Giving them a "NASCAR" type of DLine that the NYG used to have in their SB years
  10. As much as Huff was a great story, he can't shine Reddick's shoes in terms of sacks/pressures: https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/2980504/haason-reddick A little bit of research isn't hard
  11. $$$ over winning, good luck to him
  12. My thoughts: - I'll be surprised if Clowney doesn't sign (low base with incentives) - With Wilson & Williams here I want Gipson to be given a shot at working with Rodgers and taking the slot spot. If you want long term success you have to give young players an opportunity to grow - I think Wilson could end up in DEN since they really don't have anyone. Lazard isn't going anywhere and will improve with Rodgers back - I expect Ashytn Davis to be back as the third safety (he finally flashed as a playmaker last year) - I won't be shocked if Becton is back to compete for the swing OT spot
  13. All Jet fans should be damaged from the OLine injuries/shuffling that we saw last year. Its great that they've added Smith and Moses but both are older and could miss time. With that being the case drafting Bowers would be poor roster management. There are really only two options Douglas should entertain at #10: - Keep the pick and draft the best OT - Or trade down, pick up a 2nd rounder and draft some combo of OT/WR with the first two picks Douglas can't be caught short on the OLine again. That's more important than having Bowers with no depth at OT
  14. Great pickup!!! With the way Douglas is flowing I would expect Clowney to be here next
