flgreen
Nose tackle Sione Pouha's three-year deal worth $15 million Published: Tuesday, March 13, 2012, 12:27 PM Updated: Tuesday, March 13, 2012, 2:32 PM By Jenny Vrentas/The Star-Ledger Follow Email Print John O'Boyle / The Star-LedgerNose tackle Sione Pouha was a top priority for the Jets to re-sign. Nose tackle Sione Pouha agreed to a three-year deal with the Jets Monday morning, keeping him off the free agent market. The deal is worth $15 million, with $9.5 million in guarantees, a person with knowledge of the terms confirmed. That person requested anonymity because the Jets have not announced the terms of the deal. Pouha's deal also includes a $3.5 million signing bonus, the person added. The Daily News first reported the total value of Pouha's contract. It's unclear how the rest of the guaranteed money is allocated. It is a large portion of the total value of the deal, though it could relate to the shorter length of the deal. Pouha is a unique case: He is 33 years old but has played just seven years in the NFL. New York Mick
Not a bad signing at all. Less then 10 mill unless he's good for the next 3 years then it's worth paying him more.
