Meh, the next like 5 running backs that played in that system, behind that line all put up similar numbers...obviously the 2000 yard season being the big difference.

Mike Anderson and Clinton Portis put up similar numbers on about 100 less carries.  Olandis Gary went mental behind that line.  All of them did it with Brian Griese and Jake Plummer throwing the ball, not Elway.

That said, TD was a monster in the playoffs.  Basically carried those teams offensively.

That 1998 Broncos team was basically a mid 90's Nebraska team playing a D3 school.

Lucky for us.

As far as TD- he was the best player on back to back SB winners, 2000 yard rusher, dominant playoff performer. Wouldnt have a problem with it.

we gave them a better fight than the Falcons did in the SB

He's my all-time most overrated player.

Shonn Greene would have led the league in rushing with the broncos during those years.

Such other all-time greats like Orlandis Gary and Mike Anderson stepped in for Davis for 2 seasons and they didn't skip a beat.

lol

Please. Curtis Martin is the all-time most overrated player.  The king of doing nothing special or elite while running with a football, other than king of doing nothing special or elite lots of times.
