PatsFanTX
You should never, ever give any coach "complete control." Why? BB has done very well over the last 15 years with total control. That's what you call a smart owner.

BB's personnel decisions have been short-sighted and probably cost you a minimum of two rings.
JetsFanInDenver
He'd say no. Mangini is just buying time. He will have his pick of teams in 2-3 years, and the Jets won't be one of them. Where did you pull that out of ?

IPBanBadPosters
I am not that impressed by Harbaugh. But that's my personal opinion. A good coach yes. But can he take over for Rex. Not so sure. You're not sure if a man who is arguably the best HC in the NFL today can take over for a clueless buffoon?
JetsFanInDenver
You're not sure if a man who is arguably the best HC in the NFL today can take over for a clueless buffoon? Actually i am being serious. No sarcasm here. I am not convinced that he is the best option to be the next HC. The biggest reason is all the drama surrounding Harbaugh all thru from the start of this season. Reports like he is done, has stopped trying, lost his locker room and so on. Just this morning i was reading the link below. These are not isolated reports. So there is some truth to all this drama. If even 1/10th of this drama were happening in NY media market with a JETS HC it would be blown out of proportion. And say what you may Jim Harbaugh still has not won a SuperBowl. So he will have a lot shorter honeymoon period with the media. It would be Xmas come early for the JETS beat writers. I could go on. But i see some question marks with Jim Harbaugh as the next hire. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/10/05/jay-glazer-sees-no-way-jim-harbaugh-remains-with-49ers-beyond-this-year/
detjetsfan69
It's going to be Bevell or Quinn. Bevell would make more sense we need a HC who can develop Mariota or Winston - God Forbid the Idzikiot doesn't pass on them.
