Gainzo
Eagles or Steelers. Hope its the Steelers as the Pats own them.
Jetster
Traveling around the country, the Patriots are by far the most hated team in the NFL, loathed as cheaters. Jets coming into town with Revis on the night they celebrate the Superbowl win. Jets lost by FGs vs the Pats last year with a horrible secondary. Batman & Robin back together again. Pats lost Revis, Browner, Vareen & Wilfork. Best time to play the Pats is early in the season before they get totally in sync. Pats offense would be facing Bowles new defense with only film from Arizona. Jets Dline put a lot of pressure on Brady in both games last year. I want this to be the opener SO BAD! You win this game it really jump starts your season that is loaded with cupcakes. If Jets get an OLB in this draft their defense could be really special. drdetroit
Jets were 4-12 last season. I'd say there's roughly a 0% chance. Media and Kraft's b-tch Goodell are going to want a coronation game for the pats and they will figure the jets are a cupcake.
batmans a scientist
Normally the game isn't a divisional matchup (though a couple of times it happened). I would think it would be Patriots /Eagles
patman
Media and Kraft's b-tch Goodell are going to want a coronation game for the pats and they will figure the jets are a cupcake. We find the game interesting, but the league has to sell it nationally. Since the format of the SB winer opening the season the cowboys were the only non playoff team (8-8) the year before when they played the giants. A rivalry game, but with the most popular team in the nfl.

A rivalry game, but with the most popular team in the nfl. It's an nfl game on a Thursday night with no new network shows or major sporting events to compete against. They could have bucs-jags as the game it would be the highest rated show of the week.
Jetster
Media and Kraft's b-tch Goodell are going to want a coronation game for the pats and they will figure the jets are a cupcake. Both games weren't cupcake games for Pats & they knew what to expect from Rex. NFL fans that watch opening Thursday night schedule want something to root for, you have New York Jets vs Pats. Has there been a bigger rivalry in the AFC lately? Just the build up has so many things now that Revis is back with the Jets. That would be a shame if they have the Steelers in with Bell out with a suspension! I mean you look at the Pats schedule & giving them a depleted Pitt team is BS. The Eagles will be a SHELL OF THEMSELVES to start the season! No McCoy, Macklin, Cole, Herriman. No effing way you replace guys like that instantly. Murray's gonna find out really fast that his Oline in Dallas was kick azz. I mean their starting QB hasn't played in years it seems? We'll see, Jets would be intriguing to fans in other parts of the country as the UNDERDOG team vs the BIG BAD WOLVES of New England. FACT: everyone loves an underdog....FACT: everyone hates the Pats FACT: Jets win everyone in the country other than Pats fans skips into work on Friday. ChuckkieB
I don't think most outside of NY and New England care about the Pats/Jets rivalry. The NFL needs to kick off the season with two marquee teams that will draw national interest.
