I'm at a lost.  Can't imagine Bowles could be this bad.  Good coordinator, good pedigree and did very well last year.  Of course against an easy schedule but still the offense and defense both very respectable.  You can just put so much on Fitz being a jag And  Revis  becoming s lard ass. Both sides of the ball are bottom 5 bad.  Maybe Bowles  needs a catscan or some sort of sports psychologist . Like he has had some kind of incident that is creating deficits in the football part of his brain.

Mixed bag as coordinator. Bad when he didn't have Arizona's defense. Good when he did. Arizona's defense is fine without him. They had one game where they gave up 33, but 10 of those points were on the offense. They gave up 21 vs SF, but 7 of that was garbage time as well. They've forced 14 turnovers and sacked the QB 18 times in their 6 games.

Look at the Eagles' defense under Bowles. Numbers-wise, it's not totally dissimilar to the 2016 Jets. Except maybe that they were even worse after they went from Castillo to Bowles.

I don't think he has any answers.

Didnt he coach the Dolphins for a couple of games too?

“Mistakes,” cornerback Darrelle Revis said. “Right now we’re in a place where everything that we do gets magnified times 10. That’s where we’re at. We’re playing close, tight games or we’re maybe behind, so that one play can blow up to be something bad on top of being down. Right now, we have to play sharp. We have to execute every down to being a nearly perfect play because of where we’re at and what the stakes are. That’s where we sit right now.”

The Jets have worst point differential in the league, Mevis $louch.  You're not playing in close games because you and everyone in the secondary suddenly forgot how to play Football.  You havent been in a competitive game since Buffalo.

His answer was to blitz on 75% of the snaps vs. the Cardinals because that helps a struggling secondary.
