jamesr
I'd rather just cut him and draft / sign a proper free safety with some of the money we save.

Happy Clouds
Put me on the list of people that don't think a possible move to safety for Revis would be a smooth one. In his prime, one of his greatest strengths was his ability to press at the line. Combined with his smarts, and quickness, he was a true shutdown corner. The year he played in Tampa (coming off of knee surgery) he played more of a cover 2 zone. Wasn't a great year for him. Could have been result of knee. Playing safety, he obviously is not playing press coverage. He still has smarts, but would be much more of zone player. Can he do it, maybe? Is it an automatic? No. Management will have to decide if they want to pay him the kind of money he will want, to experiment

Revis is the best CB on the roster. He's awful and really is not the best cb on the roster and that shows how awful he has become, he's worse than some scrub we picked up off of the pats practice roster. He is playing at an embarrassing level and would 100% for sure have been benched by now if his name was not revis and if he was not being paid what he is paid. Beerfish
What makes anyone think the can play safety any better than cb? He can't handle total jag wrs and we are going to put him on TE's, faster slot receivers and ask him to make some more tackles? lol
BurnleyJet
It's scorched Earth time. a lot of old over priced lazy vets arnt coming back next year. Don't pay Revis 15m to play FS. The guys just not interested in playing full stop.

Unless revis wants to take a pay cut and accept 8-9 mil he is going to be cut..

All arm tackles so would not be a good idea to move a safety who doesn't want contact.
