peebag
Looks like Dish screwed up - called numbers on the "do not call" national registry - check it out Quote Thousands of people who got a telemarketing call for Dish Network in 2010 or 2011 may be able to collect $1,200 per call. If you think that sounds too good to be true, you're not alone. Lawyers say they are having trouble convincing people to sign up to get the money they're owed from the $61 million class action lawsuit over sales pitches to people on the national Do Not Call Registry. There's been a 120 percent increase in complaints about violations of the list since 2014. Nearly 230 million numbers are on the registry. It was supposed to stop unwanted telemarketing, but it hasn't. Thousands are now eligible for payback after a lawsuit against Dish Network, reports CBS News correspondent Anna Werner. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/dish-network-do-not-call-lawsuit-eligible-to-collect-1200-per-call/ You can check your phone number from 2010-11 here: https://kccsecure.com/dishclassaction-Lookup/Home/PhoneForm
jetstream23
Sure, I'll just enter my phone number on that webpage......and then tomorrow start getting calls from the "IRS" that there's been "an urgent filing against my name that must be cleared up urgently" from a guy with an Indian accent. batman10023
Hey I am Indian! serious dish would keep calling me about a 15 years ago. Pissed me off so much that I got the coo phone number at his home and starting calling him in the middle of the night repeatedly. He complained his wife was sick and needed the sleep. Lol. Then sent him and email to get me off his list. It worked for like a decade.
