The way I see it the guy had a superbowl calibur team that always underachieved. He was the laughing stock of the NFL after the sex boat thing, and his nickname was "meathead" amongst Viking/NFL fans.

So, no I would not be content with Mike Tice as Head Coach of the New York Jets.

As far as Tice having "super bowl" teams I'd have to disagree. The Vikings have regularly had terrible defenses for years now. Even before Tice got there. Only in the last year or two have they made notable upgrades.

Tice IS Kotite-a big, dumb former TE.Except dumber than Kotite. There's no point. If Bradway tries that, he needs to be fired.

If I was to list all of the candidates Tice would be last on that list. If Tice gets the jobe the Jets will go anywhere from 2-14 to 6-10 next year then follow it up with the same the next. Tice would be Kotite all over again.
