Mangini could tap into the Patriots' pipeline to help the offensive line through a transition stage by looking at OT Tom Ashworth & G Stephen Neal. The club could reunite FB Lorenzo Neal & new coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, who were together with the Chargers. The Jets could use a true thumper like Neal. If they lose TE Chris Baker, Christian Fauria, another Patriots player, could be a cheap replacement. I don't think the Jets will pursue Neal. Why cut Sowell if we're going to spend more cash on a FB? Plus, Neal will be 36 next season. Fullbacks generally don't make it that long in this league.
