The Troll
CBS really pissed me off by cutting away from the last ten seconds of this game to go to the thrilling conclusion of Wisconsin/NC State with the Badgers up 8 with 40 seconds left. There isn't a lot of things I enjoy more than seeing looks of sadness, desperation, and disappointment on the faces of Duke fans and players. Blackout
dont worry, just make sure you stay up for Sportscenter I was talking with my dad the other day about why CBS was given exclusive coverage for this very reason, who likes seeing half of a game and then going to half of another? Most late round games are close
stormshadow19
How bout this y'all? There are THREE Big Ten teams in the Elite 8. And this was a down year for Big Ten basketball. The ACC might only have one or none... the Big East could have two. Who's the true Power Conference now... b!tches?

Best overall showing for the Big Ten that I can remember at this point in the tourney, and it's a "down" year? Says who?

Forever, unlike in football, I can't root for teams in the NCAA tournament just because they are in my conference. F Kentucky. I hope they lose so badly that Ashley Judd is forced into porno. Ya know I'm a big UK fan, but I wouldn't mind seeing Ashley riding the ol' "baloney pony" myself!! Oh. Just so everyone can see it coming before it happens, I'd say the odds are about 50-50 it will end up being an all Bluegrass State Championship game between my Kentucky Wildcats versus the Louisville Cardinals! Rick Patino versus Tubby Smith! An instant classic! Hmmm...I wonder how the national anthem will sound played on fiddles and banjo's?
NJ
It's all about jelling at the right time. At another board - I took a lot of crap from fellow Jet fans that insisted the Big Ten was garbage and that was the only reason my Illini were racking up wins. It wasn't as strong a conference as it usually is season but there were 7 out of 10 teams that could beat just about anybody on a given day. Best overall showing for the Big Ten that I can remember at this point in the tourney, and it's a "down" year? Says who? Everyone. The media. They've been saying all year... and actually, for the past few, that the Big Ten has been down. So yeah, they're down, and they've got three in the Eliete 8... so if they were up, they'd have all 8 then? I'd just like confirmation from someone in the media
