Smizzy
Jets | Team spending time with Runyan; no offer made yet Tue, 21 Mar 2006 19:23:44 -0800 Adam Caplan, of Pro Football News and Injury Report, reports free agent OT Jon Runyan (Eagles) had dinner with New York Jets officials Tuesday evening, March 21. Runyan is expected to spend the bulk of Wednesday, March 22, visiting with the team. No offer has been made as of Tuesday evening This would be a huge signing. quietjets
I wont be bitching if Runyun accepts 2 years for less than 8 million including SB.
CluJet
If Runyan is signed, all signs point to Mario or a QB at 4 (unless we trade up, which I am lobbying for to NOT happen).
Sperm Edwards
Brick still may be the pick even if we get him. Runyan is a mauler at RT. Jones was ok at LT, but nothing special.
mbn007
If, and it is a big if, we get Runyan, I think all signs point to Mario as the #4 pick.
4HCrew
I thought all of the talk was Mario going to the Saints at #
Scott Dierking
I get a bad feeling that Runyan may be using the Jets to set a market for himself
124
Runyan at RT. D'Brick at LT. A.Jones a very serviceable back-up and can learn a lot from Runyan. I would love bringing him in. Our OLine would be set especially if we find a C or if this Katnik guy really is the real deal.
CrazyCarl40
If we do sign Runyan and Mario is gone to NO, then I could see a trade down with someone who wants a QB, Oakland, Denver, Minny, Arizona even. Lots of options and we'd be best suited to get lots of picks.

4HCrew
The Eagles are facing a pr nightmare down there and for some reason I agree with Scott's thinking. The Jets are being used as a scare tactic to raise the price or create a sense of urgency.
