In fairness to you, I don't have such a list myself. Just saying those numbers may not imply what they seem to imply on the surface. Then throw in common opponents, and more. Certainly doesn't take circumstances into account. Like a first half would-be (if not for the penalty) safety sack of Mahomes by Huff was awesome balls. Moreover, because of the penalty Huff didn't even get credit for the sack there. Fast-forward to game 17: sacking Bailey Crappe inside the last minute of a meaningless final game of the season, with the Jets protecting a 2-TD lead against his 77 passing yards through the first 51+ minutes of the game, didn't really help the team any; the game was over, as was the season, at that point.
slats
I don’t know if this rumor actually has any legs, but it makes a lot of sense for JD to be pressuring JFM to take a pay cut this year with the threat of being cut being real. He’s still owed $29M over the next two years from the 4 year/$55M extension he signed in 2021, with none of it guaranteed. One option would be to do what he did with Mosley; extend him another year without any new money and lower his cap number the next two years with new guarantees that ensure that he’ll collect a good chunk of that $29M. Better than the straight pay cut Lawson took.

Better than the straight pay cut Lawson took. JD has entered into many, many contracts that we were told “were not as bad as they looked” because they provided easy exits after usually 2 years. If the Jets kept the player after two years, they would either pay the contract salary, restructure by dragging out the same or more money, or seek a contract reduction. They usually paid the contract or dragged the contract out. JD was supposed to be able to replace players through players he developed in the draft. Yet, all too often, those players are never drafted and developed. You can also overpay DT/DEs when you are not paying a QB real money. Between Rodgers/Taylor/Wilson, our QB budget is pretty high. So as much as JFM does some good things on this team, he is really not in the budget and was supposed to be replaced by a guy like Clemons. We have all sorts of other guys in our large DL room. JFM should either take a cut or be allowed to go to a team where someone else pays him. We need too many other pieces now still to overpay JFM.
Jetkwondo
It seems that with Huff, Jefferson, Lawson and Woods gone JD has already done a pretty good job replacing snaps taken by all those players. W. McDonald should make a pretty big jump based on his limited production last year of 14 tackles in 184 snaps , 3 sacks, 7 Pressures, 1 QB Hurries, 2 QB Knockdowns which with increased snaps will probably safely make a dent in replacing Huff's 480 snaps and team leading 10 sacks and 33 Pressures . Kinlaw and Fotu should be a huge presence in plugging the middle in replacing Q. Jefferson and A Woods snaps as well as their combined sacks. Solomon Thomas upped his game hence him being brought back while Micheal Clemons, outside of an average tackle rate of 27 tackles in 368 snaps he only produced . 0.5 sacks, 3 Pressures, 2 QB Hurries and 0 QB knockdowns. That's pretty bad which varjet pointed out in the previous post. Which gets to JFM's value which is kind of hidden in that he had the 3rd most snaps 627 with only 3.5 sacks but he had 27 Pressures, 14 QB Hurries and 9 QB knockdowns. Those last stats are similar to Q and JJ's value which along with Clemons not stepping up kinda hurts JD's bargaining power.
