Biggs
After two crushing losses the Jets savior, no not the baby Jesus, Aaron Rodgers, failed to open the offense things look bleak. The offseason hype of a top 5 roster run by a HOF QB and a projected 4 and 1 mark at the 5-game mark has melted away to the reality of 2 & 3. A team with no identity on O and a hapless HC and OC with no clue how to fix it. While it all looks very Jetsy even a @Reasonable Jets Fan could find a glimmer of hope that both JD and Saleh will get an extension. This is based on what happened around the league in week 5. The Bills led by what may be the most impressive QB in the league is not only devoid of surrounding talent McDermott may be as dumb as Saleh. The play calling at the end of regulation against Houston was mind numbing to any Bills fan. A fan base with a collective IQ below the Mendoza line. The Dolphins and Pats are in complete rebuild and the division is still up in the air with the possibility that a 7 and 10 record might just be enough to win the AFC East and sneak into the playoffs. What we do know is JD and Saleh have achieved 7 and 10 twice. 7 & 10 is right in their wheel house. This is why playoffs and an extension for both JD and Saleh are still very much in play. A Jets SB not a chance in hell. A fan base with hope, nope not happening. Two goofy good guys get to keep their jobs, something we can all root for.

Dcat
The ONLY hope is a mid-season firing of Saleh. It's time for Woody to change his ways. Yes.... MID-SEASON firing! Do it Woody. It is the necessary thing. Jets will NOT make playoffs under Saleh. Dump the meathead now.

They stink and McDermott is as bad as Saleh.

Firing mid-season only costs Woody more money, makes the coach look bad (hurting the Jets' reputation) and does not really help, since GENERALLY the coaches you want to interview are all unavailable. But if the Jets wanted to take a shot at someone like Vrabel, which I would do, that could be reason for a mid-season move. Vrabel had a great running game in Tennessee, with Derrick Henry, better OL, AND Keith Carter. Maybe Vrabel and get Keith Carter in line.
