Garb
Couldn't be more true. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here’s what Belichick knows but Patriots fans and media sometimes forget: The AFC East is like a race between the Pats and three Grace Rosses. As long as Brady is upright, the Patriots win the division and go to the playoffs. They’re like a European golfer who gets matched up in singles against Phil Mickelson. Worst-case scenario, they play a first-round game at Gillette 3 months from now. That’s a lot of practice, a lot of meetings and a lot of time to develop chemistry between the passer and pass catchers. If the problem is indeed Brady’s unfamiliarity with his receivers, then we’ve got great news: The Pats aren’t in the AFC North! Brady could go out there with Tito Jackson and Peter Gabriel and win the East. It shouldn’t be too much to ask of New England fans to show some patience with the best player they’ve ever had. http://patriots.bostonherald.com/patriots/view.bg?articleid=159311&format=&page=1 This article is by Gerry Callahan - of D&C fame - the morning show on the biggest Sports radio program in Boston and beyond. The morning show where shouting and contrarian opinion for effect reigns supreme. Therefore this column is fodder for his show. serphnx
I wouldn't be so sure about it. The Patriots are still the best team now I think, but it's still so early in the season. Let's wait until mid-season atleast before declaring the champs.
