madmike1
I know this is useless but did any of you see the first 2 games? I'll post my observations... 1 Francis is AWFUL 2 David Lee is a reason to turn on the knicks once in a while 3 Their shot selection is LAUGHABLE. In the triple OT game both OT's ended with Crawford getting isolation at the key, dribbling for 8 seconds and jacking up a 3. It was almost funny. 4 Eddy Curry has the talent to be one of the best players in the game. Too bad he's a complete dog who only tries one out of every 8 games... This is the crap we gave up 2 top 10 picks for...
JetsMan57
The Knicks are the most out of control offense I've ever seen. They want to emulate the Phoenix Suns, but the Suns run a structured run-n-gun offense. THe Knicks just run up court and take the dumbest shot possible. And now that Larry Brown is gone Jamal Crawford is back to his playground playing ways. Eddie Curry is a tease. If only he played with the tenacity as he showed on that drop step lefted handed dunk lastnight he'd be an all star. And the kid just simply doesnt move to close down lanes on the defensive end. Every once in a while he'll be at the right place at the right time and he'll reject a shot, but other than that the kid is horrendous on defense. war ensemble
I agree with all those observations. I only watch the Knicks because of David Lee now, but he rarely gets in so where does that leave me?
madmike1
When they introduced the players before the game the only one who got cheered was Lee. Everyone else got polite cheers and some like James Marbury and Curry got booed heh.
war ensemble
When they introduced the players before the game the only one who got cheered was Lee. Everyone else got polite cheers and some like Jones Marbury and Curry got booed heh. You mean James, right? Lee is the only one that deserves to be cheered. The Knicks would have 0 wins without Lee. But that game could've been won three times by Crawford.. if he didn't shoot every time he grabs the ball. :Cuss:

Bugg
"Starbury" 1for 9 in the home opener. YEAH! This is going to be a team people love to hate-big egos, huge salaries, selfish and indifferent stupid play, an idiot for a HC, and the dumbest owner is sports not named Bidwill. And the Bulls have their lottery pick. Renaldo Balkman's hair looks very impressive though. This situation has the potential to get historically ugly fast. madmike1
What they really need is to bring in a legit GM that knows how to rebuild. It really dosn't matter who the coach is.
JetsMan57
It's getting late early on Isiah, but he has a lot of Herm in him. He'll pin this on the rough early schedule and the Jared Jeffries injury. This offense is so out of control they are going to break the single season record for offensive charge fouls. 124
David Lee deserves to start and everybody called me crazy for thinking that the Jeffries move was bad because Lee deserves to play / start. So far, so good from Mr.Lee.

Bugg
The next substantive thread about the Knicks will be either or both of the following- "Stephon Marbury traded today for..." or "Isiah Thomas was relieved of both his GM and coaching duties and replaced with..." war ensemble
David Lee is the only player on the Knicks thast plays basketball the way it should be played. He'd do great on a team that was under control.

mbn007
Actually, Q-Rich has played wel these 3 games also, as has Nate. But the guys with the ball all the time, Marbury, Francis and Crawford, have been horrible, except for part of the Indy game where Francis was under control. Marbury should be one of the 3 players not dressing every night.:Cuss:
