124 Posted January 2, 2007 Share Posted January 2, 2007 The only reason I can see the Patriots favored by 8.5 is because of their recent playoff dominance over the past 5, 6 seasons and the fact that they havn't lost a home playoff game in their 2001-Current run. If this game was in the Meadowlands it would be different as included in their 8.5, they have 3 points automatically for being the home team. But even at their best they didn't seem to beat a lot of people by 8.5. Oh well, hope the lack of respect continues to be unwarranted for the Jets!
