I no longer have the utmost confidence in Mangini's talent assessment. I am not alone in this sentiment. The whole goddamn country knows Pennington should be benched. And none of them have seen the Jets' practices either. Seriously, how bad could the kid be? What is it Mangini's worried about - someone throwing 3 interceptions in the 4th quarter instead of only two? If he's seriously that bad, which I doubt, then the Jets would have made a play for someone else in the past couple of weeks: Leftwich, Vinny (lol), or a trade. This is not the case.
