JetNation
Kobe Bryant's recent scoring surge has been a thing of beauty, Tony Mejia admits, but if he and the Lakers are going to do anything in the playoffs, he probably needs to dial his shooting back, for both health and strategic reasons. The Troll
Haven't they won every single game since Kobe started going ape ****? Yes, cool it a bit. That will help the team get back to losing.

madmike1
Thank you Mr. Negative.Be realistic man. They are in the same conference as the Mavs, Spurs and Suns. Maybe if they move up to the 5th seed they could win a round but they are 6.5 games behind that spot....
Ghost
No team wants to face the Lakers in the playoffs. There more then dangerous, they just need their role players to step up.

Ghost
The mavs, suns or spurs would steamroll them... You can't say that when Kobe Bryant is on the floor. He is too damn good of a player. Since Like Walton and Odom returned from injury, the Lakers as a team is 5-1. I can picture us beating one of those teams you just named. There is no player who can stick Kobe one on one. IE Not the lakers.
ECURB
If the Lakers get to the PLayoffs they will make some noise... Kobe is the closest thing to MJ since MJ... lol Kobe can take over a game like no other player in the NBA... and come playoff time thats what its all about... having those guys that step it up to a level that cant be defended... Kobe > Duncan > Nash > Dirk If Kobe is on top of his game against the Mavs or suns... they can beat them... so long as the rest of the team doesnt sit cross legged in the middle of the court telling stories... lol

If he was up against a real TEAM that plays D and is more then a one man show the lakers will make a quick exit. They have ZERO chance against the Mavs Suns or Spurs. shawn306
In that conference the Lakers are 1 and done. Sorry one guy is not going to beat the Mavs, Suns, Spurs. Heck he may not even be able to beat a Utah. Kobe has been in the league for 10 years now. It is time for him to realize the world doesn't being and end with him. In other words. Kobe Sucks

Kobe is the only one on the Lakers now that was part of the Lakers dynasty.Shaq was a big part of it of course, but players like Shaw, Horry, Fisher, and Fox were all big players as well. madmike1
Once again you tend to overlook the obvious that Ghost is pointing out. If you think that Derick Fisher and Rick Fox are the reason they won you don't know why NBA teams win. It's a superstar driven league. You have the best players you win. They could've filled anyone around Shaq and Kobe and won and Kobe can't win by himself. You'll see that when the Lakers make a quick, quiet exit in the playoffs.
