GimmeShelter
I love putting those "sleeper" Brewers to sleep. Fielder and Billy Hall are the only legite threats in that line-up until some of the kids develop. Rich Hill looked awesome Friday night for you guys. NJ
Rich Hill looked awesome Friday night for you guys. He's very far from imposing - he just gets guy out. He's got great confidence and can throw strikes when he needs to - he walked nobody tossing 16 innings in spring training.

That is half the battle- make guys earn their way on base-look at another example-Giambi hits three run homer yesterday after two guys walked in fron of him to get the Yankees back in that game. Amen Faba - it's one thing to pitch around somebody that can hurt you bigtime - but a lot of runs are produced by walks allowed by guys who can't bring it when they have to. That was Z's undoing on opening day. Randy Marsh was calling balls and strikes and he's got the tightest zone in the bigs. After Dunn hits 2 out that they're still looking for - third time he's up Z didn't get a couple strike calls he thought he should have and goes mental walking Dunn, hitting Phillips with a pitch, and walking Hatteberg. A hit by Junior and a sac = 2 more runs on top of the 3 existing. Game over. I really hoped Lou was going to get a better handle on Z's emotions but I heard him in an interview last week saying he also doesn't want to break his spirit. Tell you what he did do though - in the post game he basically said you can't have your pitcher loading up the bags with walks and hbp's and expect to win. Go Lou.
