GimmeShelter
Interesting---2 stars who just can't stay healthy. Rolen had to get out of St. Louie.

Blackout
Was he outed---I can't remember if he was on the bogus or real list? troy glaus was on the list not Rolen lol
mbn007
Rolen is a better glove, and a better overall hitter. Glauss has decent hands at 3rd, and a more powerful bat, although Rolen is no slouch in the power department. Rolen had to get away from LaRussa. They really are at each others throats. It would have been a major distraction if he was in camp in ST. That said, the Jays losing Glaus' big bat may hurt in the long run. You need as much pop as you can get in the AL East. Of course, being on the DL does not help in any case. And both these guys have been there many times in their careers. Tough to say who gets the better of this deal. Maybe the team that gets their guy on the field more often wins!!
vanDoug
Remind me guys.... Was it Rolen that LaRussa was having a problem with last fall? Forget that question, just saw it in the link.
faba
Rolen can not stay healthy but if he can Toronto will make out in this deal. Better all around player than Glaus.

Thai Jet
This trade surprized me. I know Rolen was having some problems with LaRussa but I never thought it would lead to this.
