Maybe we've been blaming the wrong guy for these 7th inning debacles ... the real nitwit is Brian Cashman, who saddled Joe Torre with this collection of $hit {prior to the 8th} that we call a bullpen

That jerk is so overrated it's not even funny ... he's given in excess of 200 million dollars to spend, and still he can't find some adequate middle relievers ... or a CF who can catch the ball ... or some young SP's {other than Wang} who don't piss their pants in a big spot

But HTF can you go two and three years without fixing something as simple as middle relief ... when you have 200+ million to spend?

Cashman has to go ... he really does ... put Gene Michael back in charge, let him start by fixing this mess we call a bullpen, and then address the rest

But the first move is to unload that glorified accountant we call a GM
