Matt39
Could this team be any worse at the plate? Seriously? What a joke.
Maxman
They are short a few Hall Of Famers. But I agree they are terrible with what they have out there right now. Why can't Cashman get a 1st basemen here ever?
Matt39
Throw an above average pitcher at the Yankees and its complete operation shutdown. Its a team the inflates their statistics against bad pitching better than any team in the bigs. The Yanks will still have those days where everything clicks and theyll put up a ton of runs...those days are few and far between now though.Throw a good pitcher out there against them and they look lost. uart
Move Jeter to 1B and find a SS who can hit.
Maxman
Move Jeter to 1B and find a SS who can hit. That would actually make the offense worse. A new SS wouldn't hit as good as Jeter. Jeter's production (power wise) would be less than average when compared to other first baseman. If Jeter every moves from short it will be because of defense only. Barton
Its beyond pathetic. They are so amazingly unclutch its hard to believe. Perez was all over the place and they get 2 frickin runs. There are too many guys in this lineup who are complete wastes.
JetsMan57
Pride. Power. Pathetic. The 2008 New York Yankees A few more no-shows from the Yankees offense and the Hankster will be on the horn with Bonds' agent in no time talking numbers.... If he isnt already. anskyruben
Giambi and Damon are stealing money again. That's a HUGE part of the problem. They are pretty much automatic outs right now.
Barton
Giambi and Damon are stealing money again. That's a HUGE part of the problem. They are pretty much automatic outs right now. Not to mention Melky is swinging for the fences every time and hasnt done anything in 2 weeks, Abreu is streaky as a mutherf'er, and Giambi is a total hack. I'm not even going to mention the other guys because they arent even starters (Gonzalez, Molina, Ensberg) but those guys cant hit either. Right now Jeter and Matsui are the only 2 every day players worth a damn.
JetsMan57
The Yankees are an incredibly flawed team. They dont even have a pinch runner for crying out loud.
