CrazyCarl40 Posted July 3, 2008 Share Posted July 3, 2008 Not too shabby there Pens fans. Lock up Malkin and Fleury long term and for pretty good deals. Bring back Orpik, Eaton, and Dupuis. Bring in Satan and Fedotenko to score some goals. Not too bad at all. It sucks to lose Hossa, but he can be replaced. Losing Ruutu as a fan favorite will suck and he went to Ottawa. We'll miss Malone too, but at the price tag, we're better off. Best thing about Satan and Fedotenko is that they are only 1 year deals, so we'll be able to give Staal a good contract after this season and be players in the big market next season and still be more than competitive this upcoming season. I wouldn't think he'd leave the NHL for a subpar league. Fluery getting $5 million a year is a bit too much, IMO. He played well in the playoffs, but I still don't think he's that good.
