Agreed, the Braves did well for themselves. Kotchman is never going to be as good as Tex but they got a fine young player for him when he would have been gone in 2 months. They play small market though. The Braves run has been over for three years, but this is the nail in the coffin. With Hudson possibly needing Tommy John, Chipper on the DL, and Smoltz gone they need to start preparing for 2009. Texeria will be over 30 before the Braves are serious contenders again.
