COLTS LOSE SANDERS FOR UP TO SIX WEEKS

Posted by Mike Florio on September 17, 2008, 9:21 a.m.

The Indianapolis Colts, whose late-game comeback win over the Vikings prompted many to conclude that the early-season funk has ended, have suffered a fairly significant setback on defense.

Safety Bob Sanders is expected to miss up to six weeks with a high ankle sprain.

G.M. Bill Polian said Tuesday that Sanders also will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery while recovering from the ankle sprain.

they gave up 15 points last week' date=' that ain't bad[/quote']

They were facing Tavaris Jackson. Adrian Peterson ran all over them but Jackson couldn't do anything through the air. They should've let up 35 points and against any team with any passing game they surely would've. Except maybe the New York Jets who would've just ran the ball three straight times up the middle.

Don't sound sh ocked that Jackson couldn't do anything through the air. He's the worst starting QB in the league.
