SMC Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 I know my reaction is messed up in a way, but I don't know why I reacted in this way to the news: When I heard Brown was arrested for hitting a woman I didn't think much of it, but when I heard Rihanna was the victim I went, "Wow, what an a-hole!" Now, I have no idea why I thought it was no big deal that Brown was accused of hitting a random woman (beating of women is bad, of course), but it became a big deal when I heard it was a celebrity victim. According to reports, at about 12:30 am Sunday morning, Rihanna and Brown got into an argument after leaving a pre-Grammy party. They were in a car together, parked. She got out the car, he went after her, and roughed her up. The extent is unknown, but she does have visible bruises on her face. 911 was called and Rihanna stood at the scene while Brown hopped in his car and left. My daughter is usually involved in pr work makin sure the "performer" has a good time while here.
