Yeah, I understand the reasoning there, but Matsui and/or Damon are fairly likely to break down at some point this season. I'd like to keep him unless he Sheffields his way out of town. I would agree, but it depends on the pitcher. If it is a rookie or journeyman type pitcher, let Alex bat 3rd. Those are the games that stat whore excels in.
