Thor99
As much as I hate to say it, the Sox didn't do enough to close the gap. The Yanks win the East again, going away. The Sox will be in the WC hunt. Again.
vanDoug
Yankees vs Red Sox. Baseball begins No Japan games to kick the season off this year? Well, this is a great matchup for the first game.

It'll be a battle to the end.

The Sox will be in the WC hunt. Again. I don't agree with that. As long as you guys have a quality pitching staff (and with the addition of Lackey), it's wide open...and let's not discount the Rays either...could be a bounce back year for them. Otter
It'll be another good race in the AL East. The Sox are a bit better in the starting rotation, while the Yanks a slight edge in the bullpen. The Yankees have a much better offense than the Sox. That'll probably be the difference in who wins the division and gets the wild card.
